The Musical Glee will also be our fund-raising dinner, a perfect opportunity to raise money for "charity and good learning", in the time-honoured tradition of our Club. Do not miss out!

Following on the success of last year’s Christmas Get-Together at Ye Olde Cock Tavern, we are renewing the fun on 10th December, when we meet at Friar Hüseyin Özer’s Sofra Restaurant in South Molton Street, a stone’s throw from the Savile Club, for a Turkish Christmas Gathering. There will be unlimited mixed meze and one glass of red or white (delicious) Turkish wine or a glass of fizz per person. The cost? Only £40.

For our first dinner of the new year, we are delighted to welcome Dame Deborah Bronnert, former British ambassador to Russia (2020–23), whose tenure coincided with major international crises, such as the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Please note that this event will be exceptionally held on a Thursday.

Our 158th Anniversary Dinner will give our Friars an opportunity to flaunt their black-tie dress in the splendid surroundings of the Ball Room, as well as celebrating another important milestone in the history of our Club. For this very special occasion, we are delighted to welcome, as our guest speaker, the distinguished Labour politician Lady Ashton. Book well in advance if you want to avoid disappointment.
