For our first dinner of the new year, we are delighted to welcome Dame Deborah Bronnert, former British ambassador to Russia (2020–23), whose tenure coincided with major international crises, such as the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Please note that this event will be exceptionally held on a Thursday.

Our 158th Anniversary Dinner will give our Friars an opportunity to flaunt their black-tie dress in the splendid surroundings of the Ball Room, as well as celebrating another important milestone in the history of our Club. For this very special occasion, we are delighted to welcome, as our guest speaker, the distinguished Labour politician Lady Ashton. Book well in advance if you want to avoid disappointment.
